Community cards

In poker, community cards come into play when a player makes a bet. These cards are part of the pot that all players compete for, but only one of them can make a winning hand. In some poker variants, a player can replace one of his or her cards with a high card if he or she does not have a good hand. The community cards are also used to create pairs and three of a kind.

Straight flush

Often, a straight flush in poker is one of the best hands to have when you are playing. However, this is not always the case and sometimes it is not worth chasing a draw. This strategy is considered a loser in the long run and can cost you a lot of chips. Although a flush is considered the strongest hand in poker, it is not a sure thing to win the pot. Sometimes, it will rely on implied odds, which require you to know your opponent’s play style and hand range.

Gutshot straight

A Gutshot Straight is a poker hand with four cards of the same rank and one of the hole cards. This hand has a slight advantage over an open straight, as it will hit about half as often. However, unlike an open straight, it is more difficult to counterattack.
