Gaming is the habitual playing of computer video or computer games on dedicated game consoles such as X-Box and PlayStation or on a personal computer(s) (in which the activity is called internet gaming). The most popular among the three is obviously the X-Box, but each one has its advantages and disadvantages. It is therefore important to know the differences between the three types before getting involved in any game. Computer games are usually either text-based or graphics-based. Text based games are those that are played by typing a series of characters into a text box. On the other hand, it does not require a great amount of physical skill because all one needs is a computer with a reasonably fast processor, a decent memory and good graphics. This type of computer games also offers many options for customization such as different body textures and different facial expressions, giving the player an increased sense of satisfaction as they assume a different character.
On the other hand, there are different types of games that one player controls the action of another player through the use of a game pad controller. These controllers are available in a wide range of main article sizes and shapes as well as surface textures so that one player can easily interact with the other in competitive games such as chess. Computer games use the memory management system that allows the games to save their progress after each game and load them up prior to the next one. In this type of main article, the saved games are generally more complex and involving more complex strategies than the simple ones.
